Luke 9:13-18 But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people. For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company. And they did so, and made them all sit down. Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets. And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
Fresh Publishing was established for the purpose of multiplying the "Word" to feed "His" people. A "Fresh Event" captures, multiplies and spreads the "Word" or "Fresh Voice of the Holy Spirit" through digital media; CD, DVD, Audio and Video Digital Downloads.
In 1988, the Lord spoke to Wendell and Sallie Howie telling them to Feed His Sheep. In 1989, He gave them the vision of Fresh Publishing. He said that Fresh Audio and Video would be as the hands of Jesus helping to multiply the Bread ... to feed the multitudes; continually Fresh, to be eaten and re-eaten and never mold. He directed them to Luke 9:13-18 where Jesus met the most basic human need by taking five loaves of bread and two fish. He blessed it and placed it in His disciples' hands to distribute to the hungry people. He multiplied it and fed the multitudes of people, leaving 12 basketfuls leftover. In the same manner, the "Word" on audio and video can be fed to millions ... "Fresh Bread of Life" placed in our hands, His disciples. He multiplies this fresh bread and feeds the multitudes; not only for the conference or event, but enough to have many baskets left over to take home!
